Trinity Knot Heart
This lovely silver pendant is based on an ancient Celtic symbol known as the trinity knot or triquetra: a representation of the triple deities. The Great Mother, a lunar goddess the Celts worshipped which was associated with three phases of the moon.
It has been used to represent many different concepts throughout time – mind, body and soul; past, present and future; life, death and rebirth; creation, preservation and destruction; Father, Son and Holy Ghost; thought, feeling and emotion; earth, air and water. It is also used to symbolize eternity and equality.
The knot is enclosed by a heart, all hand woven in sterling silver, with a lovely Connemara marble bead hanging from the base.
